Reid Music's Repair Shop is in the capable hands of the highly talented Darryl Chafe. Born in Petty Harbour, NL, into a rich musical heritage, Darryl picked up his first love, the guitar, at a young age and has been playing over 20 years. While being employed at Garrison Guitars for 7+ years, it afforded him the opportunity to become very experienced & well-versed in many aspects of guitar assembly, technology, electronics & repairs. Eventually, after many, many hours of honing his craft with all aspects of guitar work, Darryl settled in on "Fret Work" as his specialty area.

After Garrison, he went on to work as a Repair Technician at various reputable music stores across Canada, ultimately becoming a valued member of the Reid Music team!

Being a skilled musician as well as technician also avails Darryl the opportunity to teach lessons as well, in the styles of such amazing musicians as Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Tommy Emmanuel & many others!! Instrument lessons include guitar, Ukulele, Mandolin and Bass.
