Next, is the Advanced Jumbo Original’s comfortable mahogany neck. The neck is fit with a traditional compound dovetail joint with hot hide glue, topped with a beautifully bound rosewood fingerboard that displays dazzling diamond and arrow mother-of-pearl inlays. You also get a charming collection of period-inspired appointments, including a vintage-style square bridge, a fire stripe pickguard, and the iconic Gibson script logo on the headstock. Sealed with a nitrocellulose lacquer finish, the Gibson Acoustic Advanced Jumbo Original will only sound and look better the more you play it — just like a true vintage golden-era Gibson.
