110CE-LH

This cutaway edition of our 100 Series Dreadnought gives flatpickers and strummers an open road to explore the upper register, rewarding the excursion with strong, clear treble notes that will make solos shine. The guitar features Taylors signature thin-profile neck and a hand-friendly 1 11/16-inch nut width. The layered walnut construction is both resilient and visually appealing, and together with the solid Sitka spruce top, projects a great sound that will improve with age. Taylors ES2 pickup cleanly translates the guitars tonal nuances into a warm amplified acoustic voice that lets your playing come through loud and clear.

Tonewood
As a guitar soundboard, or top, Sitka spruce is the tonewood standard of the modern era. It’s used on 85-90 percent of the guitars that Taylor makes. Its combination of strength and elasticity translates into a broad dynamic range, yielding crisp articulation and allowing for everything from aggressive strumming and flatpicking to fingerpicking. Sitka spruce is Bob Taylor’s personal favorite for an all-around great guitar.

Dreadnought (DN)
The Taylor dreadnought is a focused guitar with plenty of presence, recently redesigned to be even more assertive. It’s the traditional choice for the traditional player; the model to drive with a heavy pick.
