A brief overview of each guitar and a video from NAMM by
Guitar World Magazine introducing the Telecasters is further down the page!!

The first Telecaster guitar rolled off the assembly line in 1951, and since then has been an indispensable tool for guitarists in all genres of music. Country, rock and roll, punk, blues, funk, and every other creative genre all owe a debt to the sound of the “Tele”.

For 2011, the 60th Anniversary of the Telecaster, Fender are celebrating the Telecaster with a "Tele-Bration," releasing 12 different US-made Telecasters that span the spectrum of Telecaster styles over the years, from classic designs like the Thinline and Telecaster Custom to more unusual models like the Rosewood Telecaster to guitars made from Mahogany, Pine and Bamboo. The range sits somewhere between the US-made standard and deluxe guitars and the Custom Shop models but without CS pricing. Visually they all hit the spot, with the laminated Bamboo (Lamboo?) featuring a particularly attractive natural pale yellow finish set off by a bound edge.

These Telecasters are only being produced on a Limited World-Wide production run of 500 each! (*Except the Indiana Barn ’52 Tele, there will only be 300!)

REID MUSIC WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO AQUIRE 14 OF THESE GUITARS!! (1 of each the 12 models, 2 in other colors!)
