JUNIOR REID
Junior, the company's founder and owner, is from Whitbourne Trinity bay. Growing up in Whitbourne playing every instrument availed he
found his specialty in the piano. Junior is an accomplished musician playing professionally in the same group for almost forty years. Few
people can claim to have as much experience and success in the music industry as Junior. Junior founded Reid music limited in 1991 during
the onslaught of and economic recession with a very small budget. At the time it made the cover of a local newspaper, as a story of a man
that would simply not give up despite the local economy.
Since then the company under his hands on and meticulous care has grown and flourished to what it is today, and boasts the best products
available in today's global marketplace.
Junior gained much experience in music retail during the 1970's and 1980's. This experienced coupled with his energy and always positive
attitude has built Reid Music as the spot to shop in Newfoundland for musical instrument and accessories. There is no question that Junior
is a walking resource of information regarding musical instruments and accessories. He is particularly well spoken on the nuances of the
piano market both locally and internationally, and can provide a wealth of information to the shopper.

GINA REID
Gina grew up in Mount Pearl Newfoundland and is the person who looks after all the details at Reid Music. You will not often see Gina out
on the floor but she is busy behind the scenes making everything run smoothly and keeping the office and communications in order. Gina puts
in countless hours of work into the store and anybody in our music education program will know her particularly well as she looks after the
scheduling and clerical duties associated with all our students. This could be a full time job for someone all to them self but she manages
to juggle both the stores day to day operations and the educational responsibilities with ease. The staff and anyone who has dealt with
Gina think the world of her and appreciate her organizational skills and work.
Gina's biggest fans are two (thats right 2!) big Newfoundland dogs, Joey and Ella; they come to work almost everyday and become a bit of a tourist
attraction on the summer time. Joey is a male and can be a bit of a playful puppy and Ella is a playful girl who loves to cuddle and thinks she's
a lap dog!
Any questions you have about lessons, financing or layaways can be directed toward Gina.
